All About Me 2019.

Hi, everyone my name is Francis! I go to Saint Pius X Catholic School. My culture is full Tongan, I am 9 years old and I am turning 10 this year on the 27 of August.  My family are amazing...I am an only child that lives with my Mum,Dad and Grandpa who is my Mum’s Dad. My Grandma/Mum’s mum passed away in 2009 the year I was born which makes me feel sad. My other Grandpa/Dad’s father passed away in 1999, but my Grandma/Dad’s Mother is still alive. As a learner I sometimes go the right way that I’m supposed to be going,  and sometimes I don’t. My goals for this year are to listen and concentrate so I can do the right thing...I also need to mind my own business sometimes but I only want to help others sort stuff out. I enjoy playing rugby,handball and also dodge ball. My challenges are to focus on maths and learn my division. I am looking forward to making new friends, achieving my goals and doing all work that is handed to me. I also need to forget about the past and focus on the future. I would love to do blogging with tuhi mai atu because it helps me connect with others from other schools by blogging my work.

Week 1: Day 4 Activity 3.

I could blog my activity because I did not have enough time to do it so I will do it at the last activity's of the summer learning journey.

Week 1: Day 4 Activity 2.

Day 4 Pancakes and Maypole Syrup.
My favourite food is Spaghetti Meatballs because I just love the taste of it because it's just wonderful and this is how you make it.

Ingredients.
1. First you get a huge saucepan and heat it (medium heat), then you add olive oil.

2. Second if you want to make the meatballs you mix together the beef, garlic and herbs along with a decent pinch of salt and pepper.

3.  Third you heat a frying pan over a medium heat then add olive oil.

4. And last you just continue simmer the sauce for 10 minutes while you cook the spaghetti.

And that is how you make spaghetti meatballs. And I am telling you when you make and try this it will leave a taste of greatness in you mouth.

Week 1: Day 4 Activity 1.

Activity 1 More than meets the eye.

1. Sir Edmund Hillary, what was it like to achieve your dream of be the first ever in the history of the world to reach the to of Mount Everest.

2. Sir Edmund Hillary, while you were climbing on Mount Everest did snow roll down on you or did you get no pain when you were climbing.

3. Sir Edmund Hillary, on your journey where did you sleep or did you just walk through night and day.

4. Sir Edmund Hillary, what year did you start to climb Mount Everest.

5. Sir Edmund Hillary, did you receive an award after you climbed Mount Everest.

Week 1: Day 3 Activity 3.

Day 3 The WWF: World Wildlife Fund.
The sea creature they are willing to save is a Saimaa seal it is the most dangerous seal in the world and when it gives birth the pups are born in cold ice and half of them can die so what they are doing is they are building a snow cave for the seal to give birth in ad I think that might help so I will love them ot keep doing this. And I think the success the seal will have is not having her baby's die and her not dying as well.

Week 1: Day 3 Activity 2: The Secretive Skink

Day 3 The Secretive Skink.
 I would love to become a Doc Ranger because I can explore the creatures that are there like geckos

I would not like to become a Doc Ranger because the creatures that are there will poison me.

I would really want to become a Doc Ranger because when I go there so I can check the DNA the creatures have.

I do not want to become a Doc Ranger because the animals will get infected by creatures and I will die.

I do want to become a Doc Ranger because I can see new creatures some I haven't even heard about.

I want and do not wanna become a Doc Ranger because I cannot chose but I hope that I will become one.

Week 1: Day 3 Activity 1.

Day 1 Fantastic Beasts.
My Beast looks harry of course,he has horns on the sides of his head and he has a long tail maybe 5 millimetres and he is very kind and he smells like fresh bag of mango's I love my beast he is like my pall he also sounds like a person that has a low voice. But wish he could share if you have a beast do not force it to be kind because that won't work okay. And you should not show off in front of your friends that you have a beast because you are not nice to it at home. And I found this saying and I think it might help you and this is what it say It Is Nice To Be Important But It's Important to be nice.
